There are a few updates to the latest batch of Super Duty trucks.For starters, the XL trim model’s base V8 engine is now available with flex-fuel capabilities. Navigation is more widely available throughout the trim lineup (optional with the XLT Premium package and standard on the Lariat and up). And the XL and XLT trim models are now available with the Onboard Scales & Smart Hitch systems, which can help you estimate payloads or ensure trailer weight is evenly distributed.

Of course, this is only the second model year of the Super Duty’s fourth generation. Last year’s redesign was a big one, giving these heavy-duty trucks infotainment updates (including a standard 8-inch touchscreen and an available 5G data connection), increased engine output (up to 1,200 pound-feet of torque), and cutting-edge trailering technology. Plus, the Pro Power Onboard generator became available, serving up the ability to use power tools or charge camping gear wherever you roam.

To maximize towing capabilities, the 2024 Super Duty offers a high-output version of its turbodiesel Power Stroke V8 engine. Not only is it built to tow major weight, but this high-output engine offers best-in-class output, with 500 horses and 1,200 pound-feet of torque!

• 6.7L high-output Power Stroke turbodiesel V8 (500 hp, 1,200 lb-ft)

In addition to delivering best-in-class power, the 2024 Super Duty outdoes competitors in terms of towing and hauling capabilities! Depending on engine, equipment and body style, the Super Duty’s fifth-wheel/gooseneck tow ratings reach up to 40,000 pounds.
